The highly-anticipated Brompton 48 Invitational is fast approaching and to wet your appetite we’ve put together a selection of star riders to watch out for in the race on 14th June at the World Cycling Revival.

David Millar

One of Britain’s most successful cyclists, David Millar needs no introduction. With a staggering 18 years of professional cycling behind him, David brings a wealth of experience to the race.

All riders will be taking part on our Brompton x CHPT3 bike designed in partnership with David Millar.

Alec Briggs

Esteemed Professional cyclist Alec Briggs has a string of successful wins under his belt. Not only is he one of the speediest competitors but wheelie specialist Alec, also enjoys racing around crits on a fixed gear with no gears or brakes!

Currently racing for Specialized Rocket Espresson and his own team Tekkerz.

Vojtech Blazejovsky

Vojtech is something of a Brompton expert, as the experienced CAT rider makes them! Vojtech is currently working as a hand brazer in the Brompton factory.

Having racked up an impressive 2nd and 3rd placing in the last two Brompton World Championships, he’s become a master of the Brompton fold.

Amelia Munsey

Former competitive rower, Amelia Munsey has been taking the world of triathlon by storm since 2016 after leaving rowing behind.

Having taken on Ironman, Ironman UK and Mallorca 225, Amelia puts cycling as her strongest discipline.

Germain Burton

Germain is no stranger to racing having been riding at Herne Hill since the age of 9 with his younger brother and his Dad’s De Ver Cycles club mates. Germain saw medal winning performances in track seasons 2014 – 2016 in team pursuit and madison.

After a 2 year break from full-time racing Germain is now back to professional racing with JLT Condor.

Unai Alvarez Mosquera

Reigning Brompton World Champion Unai, from Spain claimed a hard-fought victory in an incredibly fast time of 00:26:25.

Having been cycling since the age of 4, he only began officially competing 4 years ago and since then has been winning races and making a name for himself on the Spanish circuit.
