Charity Partner Announced for the WLB Awards 2023

WLB Awards 2023 will support Young Ealing Foundation - Opening up a brighter future for Ealing's young people and children

The West London Business Awards 2023, to be held at Twickenham Stadium on Friday 24 February, welcomes Young Ealing Foundation as its Charity Partner for this year. The charity, established in 2017, will deliver the always popular awards raffle throughout the evening with prizes to be won while raising money for a good cause.

Young Ealing Foundation connects and equips grassroots youth charities, supporters and decision makers to open up a brighter future for young people locally. Projects and forums delivered by the charity include Ealing Young Champions; the Tackling Youth Violence Network and the Ealing Arts and Health Alliance.

The Ealing Young Champions, supported by the foundation, also played a prominent role in saving Southall Young Adults centre from closure following the #savetheyac campaign in 2021 which was presented to Ealing Council. The youth centre was eventually saved from demolition.

Tanya Taylor, Head of Communications and Business Development for Young Ealing Foundation says: “We are absolutely delighted to have been selected as the charity partner for the West London Business Awards 2023. Deprivation is growing and young people are the hardest hit. Funds raised from raffle sales will help us rewrite the story for thousands of lives. We have some outstanding prizes up for grabs and we’re very much looking forward to meeting you all on the evening and celebrating the fantastic achievements of West London’s local businesses.”
