    The West London Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) has identified a need for much greater collaboration between local leaders and organisations from all sectors, to improve the employment prospects of young people in West London and address local skills gaps.

    The Summit will bring together key stakeholders from across West London to share good practice, explore challenges and establish alliances that will drive action in response to this need.

    Our collective long-term goal is to make West London the best place in the country for youth employment.

    Summit objectives

    1. For employers, schools/colleges and providers to learn from each other and from young people, identifying challenges and establishing opportunities for collaboration.
    2. To develop clear career transitions and pathways for young people into priority sectors: transport & logistics; film/ screen; health & social care; hospitality; food manufacturing; retail/ wholesale; construction; digital; and green jobs.
    3. To build stronger, long-term relationships between local employers and schools/colleges.
    4. To establish opportunities and the means for employers to build local talent pipelines and diversify their workforce.
