Last Friday, 16 February, over 400 business leaders, entrepreneurs and local authority representatives descended upon Twickenham Stadium for the West London Business Awards 2024. Our annual celebration of business excellence was hosted by Jenny Eclair and winners were crowned in multiple categories.
The big winners on the night were Garden Studios of Park Royal who scooped four awards, including the title of West London Company of the Year 2024. We also presented our first ever Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Award, where Millenium & Copthorne Hotels at Chelsea FC took the prize. There was individual recognition for Linda Hawkins of Marriott Hotels as West London Business Leader of the Year 2024 and Professor Richard Templer OBE who took home the Lifetime Achievement in Business Award.
Andrew Dakers, Chief Executive of West London Business, said: “This was our eleventh West London Business Awards, and the standard of entries gets higher every year. The entrepreneurs and businesses that won at this year’s awards ceremony really earned their recognition, as there was stiff competition in all awards categories. These winners demonstrate that London is still the best place in the UK to run and grow a business or develop a career.”
