New AI-Powered Platform Aims to Close Skills Gaps for Job Seekers and Employers

AI platform SkillsAssess offers free trial for their skills-gap assessment tool for organisations...

West London Business member SkillsAssess, stands ready to help training providers, career advisers, and employers identify and address skills gaps using artificial intelligence.

As part of their “SkillsAthon” campaign, the platform offers a free AI-powered skills assessment designed to give users insight into how their current abilities align with existing or future job roles. The tool also identifies individual strengths and gaps, then suggests a tailored pathway for upskilling.

SkillsAssess is “training agnostic,” meaning it is not tied to any single training provider or curriculum, allowing organisations to use their own preferred resources alongside the platform’s assessment data.

The system includes adaptive assessments that adjust in real time based on a user’s responses, alongside interactive simulations that place candidates in realistic, task-based scenarios — such as troubleshooting a workplace IT issue — to test practical problem-solving skills rather than relying solely on theoretical questions.

Organisations using the platform also gain access to an enhanced reporting dashboard, which visualises results and skills breakdowns to support data-driven workforce planning.

The platform is aimed primarily at organisations that support students and job seekers, with the stated goal of producing “more confident, work-ready individuals” through an evidence-based approach to guidance and training.

A free trial is currently on offer to interested organisations. Those wanting to learn more can contact the SkillsAssess team at contact@skillsassess.ai or visit www.skillsassess.ai.
