Staffing changes at WLB – Introducing our new starters

After many years of dedicated service as our Member Services manager, Ryan Smith moved on from WLB in March 2019 to take up a position at Brunel University’s Co-Innovate project – supporting SMEs from across the region. We wish Ryan all the best in his new role.

This change has led WLB to restructure our member services function, welcoming Amelia and Elliott to membership and Sarah as Park Royal Business Group Manager.

All members now have a dedicated Relationship manager: Amelia, Elliott, Sarah, Clarence or Andrew.

Amelia Grant, Head of Member Services, supports our corporate patrons. Amelia’s previous experience includes PR, marketing and business and operations management working in other membership organisations in the travel and technology sectors.  LinkedIn

Elliott Parker, Member Services Coordinator, supports Amelia and our SME member base. Elliott has freelanced with WLB for the last 3 years supporting member services and comms,  His career spans Sports Administration, Customer Service, IT, non=profits and a spell running his own comms business. He has also been a Trustee for Brentford Toy Library and was part of the management team which established ‘The Bees Café’ project in partnership with Brentford FC – helping young people back into work.  LinkedIn

Sarah Spateri, Park Royal Business Group (PRBG) Manager, is focused on ensuring Park Royal remains the best industrial estate in which to do business. She is the first point of contact for businesses across the industrial estate.  The role draws on Sarah’s past experience in the private sector and West London’s media hub. Having started her working life as a presenter and musician she moved on to TV production where she worked at the BBC, ITV and sit-up.tv.   LinkedIn
